New paper on co-design and cities

The research paper “How to support German cities in implementing the SDGs: learning from and about co-design” was published recently in the journal Global Sustainability. In their article, the authors Kerstin Krellenberg und Florian Koch present the co-design process as a tool for interacting with urban practitioners and identifying their specific needs, and describe the main outcomes of the co-design process and its contribution to the implementation of the SDGs in cities. The paper is based on work of the DKN working group „Urban sustainability transformations “ (2017-2019) and the co-design project group „SDGs and cities“ (2017-2019) and can be found here (Open access)
