German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU) presents new report on land-use

On 3 November 2020 the WBGU presented its latest report entitled 'Rethinking Land in the Anthropocene: from Separation to Integration' to Federal Ministers Anja Karliczek (Education and Research) and Svenja Schulze (Environment). The key message of the report is that climate-change mitigation can only succeed, the dramatic loss of biodiversity can only be averted, and the global food system can only be made sustainable if there is a fundamental change in the way we manage land.
