25th World Congress of Political Science: Borders and Margins

The Call for Proposals for the next IPSA World Congress of Political Science, to be held in Brisbane (Australia), 21-26 July 2018, is now open!

The Congress will provide an opportunity for you to network with global scholars. It will have particularly strong local and regional representation, because it will integrate the annual conference of the Australian Political Studies Association and the biennial Oceanic Conference on International Studies. The Congress will have a rich program under the theme ‘Borders and Margins’.

There will be several general sessions: Democracy and Autocracy, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Globalization and International Political Economy, Electoral Integrity, Political Theory, Minorities: Race, Religion, Sexuality, Migration: Borders, Citizens, Marginalized Others, Political Participation, Indigenous Politics, Populism, and Politics in Asia. Moreover, there will be sessions on Australian Political Studies, International Studies, and Research Committee Sessions.

Proposals for panels and papers on any subject within political science are welcome. The Congress Theme “Borders and Margins” will be featured in specially organised topical sessions and events.
