Meet us at COP 23 in Bonn!

Climate action & global sustainability: strengthen system thinking and interconnected agendas

The this year's UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) will take place 6-17 November in Bonn, Germany and will be presided over by the Government of Fiji. We are happy to announce that German Committee Future Earth together with Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft will organise several events together with numerous partners. 

Meet us at the following events:

  • 6.11.2017 (15:00-16:30) UNFCCC side event on “Catalysing climate action, realizing the SDGs: science, interconnections & implementation” as part of the consortium with DKN/DFG, Inter American Institute for Global Change Research, German Development Institute and African Center for Technology Studies and in collaboration with Future Earth and WCRP (Bonn Zone, room 7).
  • 10.11.2017 Science Hour on "Carbon pricing: Making polluters pay or selling out our future?" organised by DKN/DFG, Hamburg University and Technische Universität München (Bonn Zone, German Pavillion).
  • 15.11.2017 (10:00-12:00) Discussion on “How do cities contribute to the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the SDGs?” organised by DKN-Co-Design Project Group "SDGs on urban level" (Wissenschaftszentrum Bonn, free entry).
