KIT Climate Lecture 2018 - What if Paris Fails?

According to the Paris Agreement holding the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels is crucial to keep the drastic consequences of climate change at bay.
But what happens if CO2 emissions do not decrease rapidly? -Climate change will become a resource problem, with resources like health, water and land becoming scarce.
This problem will be adressed and discussed by Prof. Thomas Stocker during the  2018 KIT Climate Lecture: What if Paris fails?

The programm will also include a Welcome by Prof. Frank Schilling (Scientific Spokesman KIT Climate and Environment Center) and Prof. Christoph Kottmeier (Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research, Head of Department Troposphere Research)
