Four postdoctoral researcher positions - iDiv

iDiv, the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research Halle-Jena-Leipzig, invites applications to four postdoctoral researcher positions for candidates who have a strong background in integrative biodiversity research and are keen to develop scientific networks. They will play a vital part in enhancing iDiv’s scientific strategy and sharpening the research profile of iDiv in key thematic areas.

  1. Postdoctoral researcher (f/m) on the project PhenObs – Botanical Gardens as a Global Phenological Observation Network’
  2. Postdoctoral researcher (f/m) on ‘PolDiv – Automated high troughput pollen diversity monitoring to study the ecosystem services air quality and pollination (wind and insect pollination)’
  3. Postdoctoral researcher (f/m) on Mapping global land-use patterns and recent historical changes’
  4. Postdoctoral researcher (f/m) on the project ‘Scale-dependent drivers of biodiversity change in marine and terrestrial ecosystems’

iDiv is hosted by Leipzig University (UL) and operates together with Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU), Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena (FSU) and the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ. The scientific consortium is further enhanced by the expertise of other research institutes, including several Max Planck Society institutes and the Leibniz Association.
